Since May 2000 this Insurance is compulsory for all building projects in Spain

This insurance protects homeowners’ against structural defects which manifest themselves within a 10 year period after the buildings completion. The insurance must be contracted prior to any building activity being started. Thirty percent of the premium are due before the policy’s inception, The remainder at completion of building activities.

The Insurance company monitors the entire building process.
